Your puppy is bored. You need to provide stimulation and rotate toys so he doesn't get bored. You also want to make sure your puppy is part of your family, not just an outdoor decoration.
If your puppy is fully vaccinated, make sure he's getting frequent walks. A tired dog is a good dog.

A few suggestions:
Kong- fill with peanut butter and freeze. This takes the animal quite a while to get all the peanut butter out. Also, the kong website has recipes for use w/kongs.

Femur bones from the butcher: My dogs love these.

Try some interactive toys- Crazy Dog Bumble Ball, Buster Cube, Booda® Snack 'n RollTM Treat Dispensing Football (can be found at the pet store)

Also, never give your puppy old socks, shoes, etc. They can distinguish between old and new.

I've listed some great sites with very helpful information. Good luck!

Aren't puppies cute? I love them. There is some "bitter" stuff you can buy that will make the puppy hate the taste of the sprinkler. Since it may be hard to put it on all sprinklers, just put it where you see him/her chew.

Puppies need a bunch of stuff to chew on. Get him chew toys, etc. Every time he chews on stuff he isn't supposed to, replace it with one of his toys. Make sure you have a place for his toys, so he knows all the toys are his. Don't just set down a new toy for him, actually give it directly to him.

The puppy stage will be over in no time.

Give him something else to chew on. Something for dogs. Ask your vet what is considered safe for your type of pup.

Give him something else to play with like a king filled with treats. When you see him chewing them say "ah ah ah" then give him something else to do like play frisbee or ball with him.

Paint them with something that tastes bad, like hot pepper sauce. Don't use something toxic, though; just gnarly.
