I've been happy with my boyfriend for a long time, but now it doesn't seem "right" anymore. I don't want to break his heart. What shall I do?

The best thing for you to do is be candid with your boyfriend and let him know how you feel. Why keep pondering the question if you know deep down inside that you're not happy? Life is too short to live a lie; think of this as a new start for both of you.

Well, you have two choices really. Either you or the boyfriend need to do something to spice up the relationship or ended it altogther. Breaking up is never easy. Especially if there is a lot of time together involved. There is no way to avoid the heartbreak. However, staying in a relationship that is going nowhere and unfulfilling is more painful than any breakup can entail.

When you are in love you do not always feel in love or "right". Commitment is getting through those times. If you are young and not married and want to explore then you will have to break his heart. Better now then later.(you may be the one heart broken in the end). Can you bare the thought of HIM with someone else?

Well... it's a fact of life. If you don't like someone and they like you they are going to have some feelings hurt. You need to explain to your best of abilities how you feel. However.. do not let him make you feel bad for the way you feel. You have every right to your feelings, and no matter how bad he may feel you can't stay with someone just because you are afraid of hurting them because they deserve to find someone who will feel the same about them. Let him go Sweety.... it will just take time but he will bounce back.

I don't think there's a way around his heart breaking but it would be worse to stay with him if you are unhappy. Tell him that you respect him to much to continue in a relationship that you no longer want to be in. Tell him he deserves a woman who is crazy about him and that woman isn't you.

Tough question, but you have to move on otherwise it will stress you out and thus make the relationship even worse, just sit him down and say I think we need a time out, this is just not getting it, who knows he may feel the same way and thank you!

Sit down and figure out what is not "right". Maybe write down the positive and negatives about him and/or your relationship. Then decide what makes sense: break-up or stay.

Sit down and discuss the situation with him. It's the only way to save the relationship,

There's no "nice" way to tell someone you want to move on. You just have to be honest with him and tell him you don't want to stay in this relationship. You don't have to give him the reasons - only if you want to. He'll get over it in time, it happens to everyone.
