I was an average student.. just because the school didn't challenge me. But I consider myself to be very smart now.. and back when I was in school. Grades do matter.. but to me, it was a joke to try to be the best.

going by your grades. you'd be okay with room for improvement. but it all comes down to what YOU think. do you put your effort into your studies or simply do enough to get by? if you really care about this whole grade thing then you should apply yourself a bit more and see what results come of it. bottom line is that your grades do matter in terms of what college you want to go to, if you even want to go at all.

I would always rate myself on how much I learned compared to the grading scale. Grades don't always indicate what you've learned.

I would say "needs some help" if you want to get better grades.
