Ok, me and my gir are having this big fight. I'm 18 and she's 16.. barely turned 16.. Well, we work at the same place and I use to take her home everyday.. not until this one thing happened. She's too young to drink and she hangs out with my co workers afer work and just hang out at their place to drink and stuff. I don't drink so I just don't go with them. I told my girl not to drink or else its gonna ruin our relationship. She goes and tell me who the **** do I think I am to tell her what and what not to do. And she said that I'm like being a mom. I told her that at least I think about whats good and what's not for her. But I guess she doesn't understand it cause shes very young. Today she told me that we need to talk. If she does break up with me, I think about telling her parents about it. I'm not close with her parents but I dont want her to ruin her life. But Im afraid she's gonna hate me forever. What do u guys think?

I already told her all the things that could possibly happen like people taking advantage of her etc.. but she's very stuborn and wont listen to me. Im just so worried about her because I really love her and I don't want her to waste her life. I feel like I need to do something to stop it because I kinda feel responsible for it if I dont do anything

First of all, y wud u want to be with someone who is hanging out and drinking at age 16. This is just the start of a downhill spiral that you dont want to be apart of. But its never good to snitch cuz know ones gunna trust u after something like that. And After u break up it's really non of ur business....

How long have the two of you been together? Whether she drinks or not is her business, when she comes home drunk from hanging out with the co-workers, her parents will find out, I don't think that its your place to let them know that she drinks, unless she is an alcoholic, so if you find she needs to drink everyday kind of a thing, doubt she is. She probably is just having fun, and wants to feel part of the group, wanting to be older, therefore, the drinking. Do you still want to be with her? If so, just explain that you are concerned about the fact that she is drinking underage, and that it makes you feel uncomfortable. Tell her how you are worried that her innocence might get the best of her, and when she's drunk you wouldn't want anyone to take advantage of her. Tell her the truth why you don't like/want her to drink, and maybe she'll open up to you more explaining why she does like to drink, and maybe there is another way around whatever her reason is (if she wants to feel more included, or older or whatever).
Hear her out, make sure you tell her your concerns, and be open minded.
All the best in whatever happens.

If she's 16 and you're 18,you're too old for her legally anyway. Find someone more suitable for your own age. Besides, she has a lot of growing up to do yet and you don't need the headache! Break-up with her and move on to someone more mature and who's at least 18 as well!

well since shes acting like that to u, its ok to drop her. because if the relationship between u two arent going that great, then its ok to drop her, she will understand someday and she will regret, plus, dont worry, u'll find a girl who will treat u better, and if at work, she talks badly to u, then ignore her or tell ur boss.

if you tell her parents it is only because you care about her, but she might not think that. i say just do what you think is right.

Do what your heart tells you to. If you tell her parents, it is only b/c you care!
