the younger gets someone that is stable and the older one gets someone that will keep them both feeling young.
what's wrong with that?

In my opinion only, I see that this is unnatural. This just says that people who marry people younger than themselves are not mature for their age and similarly people who marry way older are insecure. I think that "age is a number" thing is a pile of crap. Just imagine the 50-year-old and the 20-year-old together as a once 18-year-old dating a fetus. Yes, love exists everywhere, even in the wrong places. Word of advice: Mind the GAP!!

Age is a number, but the only down fall that I have ever seen in it is that if the man is older then the woman, more then likely he will die adn lot sooner then she will. This is now happening to my grandparents and it's said.

I myself, my husband is 3 years younger then me, but it's something I never think about. But being in our 30's it's not a big deal. I love him and we have a lot of fun together and have 3 great kids and one more on the way.

To each there own as long as they are happy!

Yes, its alright and mentally and physically...they are in love...just like a younger lader and older man or two people the same age. Age is only a number. Maturity and love is what counts.

Hey there, my aunt married my uncle who is 9 years younger than she is. They have 2 great kiddos and have turned out very happy. My mom said if I want to meet someone older than me by 10 years or so there shouldn't be any problems. But older than that she doesn't recommend it. Especially if they have been married before. =)

That would depend on the age gap. If it's 10 years or less, things might work out. But I'm not sure about an age gap bigger than that. That's just my opinion.

how much older? my boyfriend will be 34 in December and I am 39. He doesn't seem to mind it actually bothers me more than him. Is this what your asking or are you meaning a lot more of a age gap.

I am 27 and it would be great to see a man a few years younger than me, I'd have no problems with that. I think it would liven things up!

It depends on the maturity level of the two people. Maturity is a different measurement than age.

It's as right as if there was no age gap. If it is meant to be, so be it. My husband and I are 13 years apart, and we fit perfectly! Now, you have to keep it legal, dont forget. Good Luck.
