The way I decide on a color for my wall is by taking a trip to Lowes and picking up paint swatches. You can take as many as you'd like since they don't cost anything! Most of the time I already have an idea of what color I want put its the hue I am not sure about. I sit in the room I want to paint and tape them to the wall so I can see how the furniture and light work with the swatch. The best thing about painting is that if the color doesn't work you can repaint! I would keep the wall color light since you have dark furniture

Usually neutral colors go well with black, and even painting one wall like a red or burgundy (an accent or emphasis wall) will really complement the room. Sometimes painting a room in all red or similar color can be overwhelming. In an office you probably want a more soothing effect. Hope this helps.

the great thing about black furniture is it is nutral. So any colour matches. I would suggest a calming colour for an office like blue, or lavendor. But it is up to you what feeling you want while you are in your office. Have a look at the source below for more information on colours and what mood they envoke.

I would say that a beige/tan color would accent the black furniture very well. Or if you like green go with a sage green color.

I got a shade called 'fresh water" from Duron paints. It looks spectacular with the black frames and furnishings that I have.

It's a medium blue, like a dark sky blue.

I think pure white would be beautiful, but if you want a fun color then I would go with something like a muted fucshia, teal, or a light lime green.

an off white color would be good...also try deep colors, make sure to go to the hardware store and get some of those color pallets and hold them up against the couch to make sure they don't clash or look aweful--good luck!
