Place it on a cookie sheet and bake it in the oven at 350 for about a half hour.depending on how well your oven works. I know you will love the taste. For some reason it just has a totally different flavor and texture cooked this way. Make sure to keep a close eye on it and turn it only once.

OK, when you cook bacon. Do it with a cast iron frying pan or an aluminum pan. Do not use too much heat. Lay the bacon in the pan flat and not touching. Let it cook slowly and pour the grease off every so often. This keeps the grease from burning and makes the bacon nice and crispy. When it gets dark brown it is done. Do not over-cook or it will burn very easily.

1. Put the pan on the burner of the stove.
2. Put grease in the pan.
3. Turn on the stove.
4. Put the slices of bacon evenly in the pan.
5. Use the pitchfork to flip the bacon every few minutes.
6. Make sure the bacon does not burn on both sides.
7. Take the bacon out of the pan when it is done.
8. Pour the bacon grease out of the pan.
9. Turn off the stove.
NOTE: Choose the Thick-Sliced bacon. It is so much better.

You can buy a tool called a "bacon press" that holds the bacon down in the pan so that it cooks more evenly. Also, you can buy pre-cooked bacon that you just heat up in the microwave. Or you can place it in a frying pan to make it more juicy/greasy. And, like a previous person posted, lower the heat so it is not too quick to burn. Enjoy!

If your oven gets even heat, put is on a cookie sheet with sides (called a jelly roll pan) and cook it at 375 degrees for about 20 minutes, checking for doneness. You can cook it part way like this then freeze betwee wax paper sheets, Microwave for 5 seconds and it tastes like fresh from the frying pan.

Use an electric griddle @ 275 degrees. Use thick cut. Snip off
fat ends. Put the ones that are done on a plate with a couple
of paper towels and then blot off the rest of the grease with
more paper towels. Time consuming to be sure but worth it.
Put leftovers in fridge and quickly zap in microwave 'till warm
for a quick and easy sandwhich.

Buy a bacon press... you put it on top of the bacon as it's cooking to hold it down evenly on the pan... I've tried to keep it down with the spatula and I get splattered with hot bacon grease... the press is great.
