Self righteousness is? You are right, they need to stop else they will be in toublllleeee.... Ignore them, some of them hate anyone that isn't them...sad people really.

The RCs were not the first christians.... RCs are not of The True Christian Faith. This is not hate...simply statement of fact.
There have always been those who refused to bow to the man invented dogma of the RCs. These Believers were around long before the RCs ever got started. And are not part of those who finaly saw the light and removed themselves from the RCs domination.
RCs do not even know if they can get into Heaven. Even their pope can not say for certain that he is going to Heaven(he is not). No priest is alowed to tell any one that they are saved and that their place in Heaven is assured. A priest can be kicked out for doing so.... this is in direct oposition to The Teaching of Jesus The Christ....
For those of The True Chrisitan Faith their Salvation is assured by a direct promise of God. They are of The True Church by The Word of God. No man, priest,pope,doctrin or dogma can decree any one to be of The Church... only God.

In present day America, we ignore the parts of the Bible we don't like. (Didn't say it was right, just said it was America).
This is exactly what can be expected in a country where the individual and his personal opinion is the most important thing in the world. In a country where "humility" is synonymous with "weakness".
It wasn't that long ago in the Christian Church that Heaven was not ASSUMED by anyone. Even Mother Teresa said that she "didn't know if she would make it!" What we've turned that into is a spiritual SUPERIORITY where "I get to go to Heaven and you don't." Notice how that sounds a lot like a child gloating that "I got a bigger piece of cake than you did."
EGO IS THE CENTRAL VALUE OF OUR CULTURE.

Christians are taught that the Catholic church is the great whore of Babylon. Yes they are taught that. I went to a Christian High School and was told that Catholics are evil and the Pope the most evil of them all. I'm not saying I believed them just what goes on in these fundamentalist churches.

Is that a Catholic belief? I don't think Jesus threw the money-lenders out of the "house of his father" out of his love for them. Now self-righteous, yes, I've seen that one in the Bible. As for it being the first "Christian religion" - Jesus did say the "last will be first and the first will be last" so I don't think being first in line necessary to be the best.

I don't hate catholic's but they are deceived and every catholic I know was very angry after they got saved because they realized they had been lied to all their life.
Catholic's are deceived, the teaching is wrong, antichrist.

According to Canon Law the Catholic Churh IS the Christian Church. All these other "Christian" sects (Prots, Methods, Episcos, Prebs, Bapts, etc ad nauseum) created by thier scisms are not "Chirstian"...call themselves what they want, they are heathen.
