ALWAYS! I drove a truck for a security company for 13 years without incident. I attribute part of that success with always using turn signals. With my own car I have adopted the same practice and have never been in nor caused an accident.
I hate it when people don't signal their intentions. How am I or others on the road supposed to stay safe if you just dart across two lanes without a signal?!?!?!?! One bad habit I can't stand is when people signal ONLY when others are around. Are you certain? How do you know unless you are in the habit? CRASH!
Have a great day!

I'm paranoid, so I force myself to always use my turn signal. It's just a good habit to make. If I didn't pay attention, I'd say always except when there is no traffic that I can see around.

Always...it's what they are there for,...to warn other road users of your intentions,...it can be incredibly dangerous in certain situations...especially on British motorways...not to indicate your intentions.....

Having said that, it is also dangerous to indicate and then carry out the manoeuvre before anybody has time to react to it!

98% of the time. If I'm drinking a coffee and no cars are around anywhere, then I sometimes don't.

I use them all the time, but when it's late night and there are no cars around I don't use them.
