I am on Weight Watchers and I've lost 45 lbs. (and still losing). It is an absolute godsend because it is realistic! It's not a fad. You don't have to deprive yourself of anything. They teach you healthy habits. Obviously, it's up to the individual to actually incorporate those healthy habits into their lifestyle, but the results have made me want to stick with it.

I have tried so many diets. The only one I found that helped me lose 95 lbs in 8 months and keep it off for over 4 years now is a plan called Shapeworks, you get a personal coach to help you through the tough times. That made all the difference in the world. Here is the website that I got the info from: www.loseweightnow.com/tfward

If you want to lose weight..just try your own diet.

Limit portions
No eating after 7 pm. - if you get hungry, drink water
No sodas
Try reading the Nutrition facts first sometimes...then see if you still want to eat it. lol...works though

Make a CD of your favorite songs and dance along to them!
Or put the radio on your favorite station (That plays music!) and dance along..change the station everytime there's a commercial..so you keep your body moving.

Drinking plenty of water helps alot too.

100 sit-ups everynight...doesn't matter how long it takes you..just try to do them and gradually increase the number as it gets easier or you can do them faster.
Ride a bike if you have one or a gym would be a good place.
But remember to start off easily/slowly then gradullay increase so you don't hurt your body.
Always!!! Stretch first before any exefcises or you can pull a muscle..then when you are done exercising..do some more stretches as a cool down so your body doesn't go from exercising to just stopping all of a sudden.

Good Luck!!!

Crash diets are bad because you tend to gain back the weight. Cut back carbs but dont take them out completely because your body will crave them and need them for all the cardio youll have to do to lose thirty pounds. I lost 47 lbs in less then three months on a normal diet and with an hour and a half of cardio everyday. Just set a goal for what you want and go after it. If you need me to write up an actual by meal diet 4 u shoot me an email and just let me know what your budget is like. I usually write up diets for my soldiers who have weight control problems...ill see if i can help.. I used to be huge so i know what it feels like. b safe.

I lost weight fairly well on 2 seperate occassions. The first was 800 calories a day and walking every night. The second was eating what I wanted when I wanted but then nothing more after 5pm.

I love this natural herbal pill calle Lipofemme. It curbs my appetite, and has no side effects at all. I've lost 20 pounds in 9 weeks. I hardly exercised at all, just a brisk walk here and there.
I swear by it

Diets don't work. The only thing that has worked for me is low carbing. Why? Because this isn't a diet but I changed the way I eat for the rest of my life. I do not ever want to go back to my old way of eating as this is the very first time in my life I can eat what I want and not fear gaining weight. What I chose is not to eat high carb items. All foods have carbs except meat, eggs and some cheeses so my diet is Low Carb.

For 30 years I was bulemic and tried every diet on the planet and to lose one pound I would have to starve myself to 500 calories a day or puke all my food not as a benge as they say bulemia is but to try and lose weight or not gain it back. I am very short only 4'11 and to eat like a normal person I would gain so fast it wasn't funny as I had destroyed my metabolism. I tried low fat, exercising, laxatives not eating at all. But I was killing myself.
2 1/2 years ago I thought about going on the Atkins as I wanted to lose weight fast. I got the book and began to read it. (The single most important thing before beginning any low carb program) Wow this made more sense than anything I have ever read. I realized that this couldn't be a diet for me but I had to change my way of eating for life.

My husband and I went on this together. I lost 50 pounds and he lost 80. This took rather very little time to lose it too. It isn't all about eating fat as many will try and tell you. It isn't unheathy either, isn't bad on your kidneys and Dr. Atkins did not die of a heart attack but from a fall on the ice on his head. He did not have high cholesterol and his company went bankrupt due to promoting high priced junk food he never agreed with but they put his name on. I have never eaten so healthy in my life or felt so wonderful. For 2 1/2 years I have never made myself vomit once or felt the need too. I can eat and eat as much as I want until I am comfortably full. I never have had to count calories, portions, eat only celery or salads, but real food!

To me if there could be a perfect way of eating this is it. But you have to decide before beginning this that those high carbs aren't worth it. If you approach this as your depriving yourself you will never stick with it.
