it was close, but i think the decision was fair. it wasn't the all out robbery that Toney made it out to be. Toney landed some good jabs and counter rights, but Peter landed the harder, more telling blows and he stunned Toney a few times, and he was the more aggressive of the two. I had it 115-113 for Sam Peter. It was a tough close fight and a good one too. But i think Toney hurts himself in these fights by not coming in the ring in better shape. he has the boxing skills and hand speed to dominate these bigger guys, but his lack of conditioning slows him down.

I don't feel bad about Toney losing the WBA belt, steroids have no place in the sport. But He got a bum decision against Rahman, and now this. He has never lost until now at Heavyweight. But as they say, you have to TAKE the fight. All of the numbers at the end of the fight were in Toney's favor. But if you let it go into the judges hands, expevt ANYTHING (ala Holyfield v Lewis).

not at all but thats the politics of boxing they don't want someone as brash as toney with any belts toney did more work than peter he should have won this fight

No. Toney was more active, threw more punches. Claearly won more rounds. Boxing judges are crap.
