very few calories without cream and sugar. It still raises cortisol which can make people get fat I think.

RE:
Can drinking coffee make you gain weight?
Does drinking 4-8 cups of coffee a day at work contribute to overall weight gain? Are there any stipulations to this that will reduce the chance of weight gain (i.e. Drinking your coffee black instead of adding cream or sugar)?

Black coffee has virtually no calories, and it acts as a diuretic in some people, which acts AGAINST water weight gain. However, it may tempt you to eating sweets, which go so well with coffee, and that WILL cause you to gain weight. But if you're loading your coffee with cream and sugar, that's contributing to your calorie overload.

Definitely black coffee would be less likely to contribute to weight gain than sugared and creamed coffee. If you add sugars and fats, yes, it could make you gain weight. Hope this helps.

There are three main ways to lose weight quickly.
1) Use only water as liquid and eliminate all other liquid drinks from your diet. You must drink as much water as possible every day. You must drink about half of your weight. If you have weight of 200 pounds then you must drink about 100 oz of water.
2) The interval between the eating is very important. If you eat once, then you must eat next after 4 hours. You must take breakfast regularly. In the night eat your food three hours before going to bed.
3) Walking is very good. You must walk as much as you can. Walk everywhere you can. Use of elevators and escalators must be reduced and instead of these you must climb stairs more often.
These are some of the fastest ways to lose weight. By just following the simple steps, you can lose your weight very quickly. You must consult your doctor if want to change your diet or exercise routine.

No. Coffee (black) will result in a net weight loss.
If you add sugar or milk, however, all bets are off.

I've heard that drinking coffee can make you gain weight. Sweet & Low is a sweetner that reduces the risk of gaining weight.

I think the caffiene how's that spelled? might have an adverse effect. it dehydrates you so your body might freak out and start retaining water and that might appear as weight gain.
