Specifically the laws on growing. I'm not trying to grow by any means but found a very large plot of land that is growing and it's quite out in the open so it makes me think that it is legal here. Is it?

Sad to say, but it's not legal. The possession of small amounts, deemed to be for own consumption, is not prosecuted, though.
It means you can't get done for holding the joint, as in other countries. And yes, I'd like a map too, may be I could beat gromitski
to it.
