Power inverter question... PLEASE HELP?

Im trying to buy a inverter to run my VAIO laptop in my car.. Will a 325 watt 115v output power, run (not just charge) my computer. If not can you tell me what i'll need? Thanks!

how much power does it require? 1 amp = approx 100 watts

Absolutely. A laptop computer typically draws around 100 Watts, with a maximum of maybe 130 Watts. A 325 Watt inverter will be just fine for running and charging your computer.
