They are so consumered with the arrogant notion that theirs is the one, true religion, everyone else is going to hell.

I've been put off going to church for being told things like 'why am i asking questions about revelation when i'm a bloke from the street' and 'your parents don't seem to be very good'
Its tough when I am interested in the (christian) religion

I apologize for my fellow-christians who have been judgmental. We aren't perfect. But, I do not believe that Christians have been the only ones guilty of this charge. Even your question requires a bit of judgment on Christians.

good one, i agree, anyone who is dogmatic and devoutly religious, who does not question what they are taught, learn to think for themselves, is someone potentially dangerous; at best, not worth knowing and infuriating! but, alas, each to their own, if that belief keeps people feeling all safe and tucked in at night, so be it. for some people, that is what it takes to feel secure; mortality is frightening and we wanna make sense of it, have something to lead us. (well, us in general,)- and born again christians tend to have a shady past they are ashamed of, so they feel redeemed, at least some of the ones i have met, interesting to talk to as long as it is not imposed on others. part of it is human nature i think, we judge others to feel okay about our own actions, it's a primitive defense, but it is nonetheless!

remember friend the rest of that scripture is.... lest you be judged by the same manner..... those that do that will be judged in the same manner they judge others. So ..... if what they are saying is wrong... they will face God for what they have said.

Christians are told what is right and wrong in the bible, and should be trying to live by that information. To discuss what the bible says is wrong is ok. We shouldn't say someone is going to hell though, even if we believe it.

Cheesuz told them not to judge, Paulie told them they will judge men & angels. So what will the poor confused ignorant Christian do when faced with contradictory instructions from the idols of their faith?

I have been to church all my life, and I have always been taught that condemnation is NOT of God. As Christians, we are to try our best to follow His example. But also, as humans fallen short of God's glory, we are not perfect, and we occassionally fail to follow His ways. Thankfully, by His grace, he is always willing to forgive and reconcile.

Are we really judging you or are you feeling judged. Your judgment is not from men but from God.
