This chicken is a sure hit. It cooks wonderfully on the grill or the oven.

I like to marinate the chicken breast with Italin Dressing.

Beat each breast with a meat cleaver, fairly thin.( I cover the chicken with wax paper then beat it, therefore there is less mess)

Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Slice a onion into small wedges
Roll a wedge of onion in the middle of your chicken.
Wrap chicken with a slice of bacon. Put 2 or 3 toothpicks through the bacon and chicken to keep together.

Cook until bacon is done... If you are using the oven cook at about 350 degrees.

I have a one dish wonder........ if your interested. You take already cut up chick, take off the skin and boil it........... when the chicken is almost done........ about 15 more min or so to go..... fry up some crispy bacon........ get yourself about 2 boxes of the cheesy potatoe augratin and prepare it in a large rectangular baking cassarole dish....... shred up the chicken and add it to the potatoe augratins, then crumble the bacon in on top of that and mix well together in the large baking cassarole dish, then bake according to instructions for the potatoe augratin.......... 30-45 min or untill potatoes are soft......... let sit out for 10 min before serveing so that cheese sauce thickens to desired texture. You don't have to fry the bacon....... you can always just lay place it in the cassarole dish with all the other stuff and keep it whole in strips and it will cook in the oven as well as marinate the cassarole as it cooks in its juices.......... its up to you........ My family loves this dish.. blessed be........
