I have done some nice things, some honorable things and some good things.
If there is a one greatest thing,I fear I have not done it yet.

In the grand scheme of things,I have not done anything out of the ordinary.It's kind of sad,but it's a fact.I guess the greatest thing I have ever done was to be a true friend to not just my friends,but to the people I meet.Honesty and loyality to my friends is something I'm proud of.I may not be remembered as some are, upon my death,but there will be a little circle of friends whose lives I've touched.It's through their memories of me that I will live on.
If I can stop one heart from breaking,I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease one life the aching,or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin unto it's nest again,
I shall not live in vain.

Great question!
The single greatest thing I have done is join a church that I believe is the true church. For me it has all the answers, allows me to believe what I want to believe and encourages me to determine for myself (through prayer) whether what they say is true. It has changed my life, giving me much peace and knowledge. I can honestly say in the 14 years I've been a member of this church I have grown in ways I never thought I could and learned things I never thought would be of interest to me. I don't take what other people say as truth, I study out the issue for myself and pray to know if it is true or not.

I understood through direct perception that there is no real separation between what you call "your self" and the rest of the world. In the moment you see this, you understand love, the seeing is love. How do you do it? You relax and watch. See the separation in the sensation of air going in and out of your nose-tip, for example. The sensation will seem to be "over there", separated from "you" by a few centimeters. When that mode of perception ceases, then love is. Be patient--my first glimpse took nearly forty years! Or...it may happen in the next moment.

Excellent question.
My biggest accomplishment would almost certainly have to be writing and defending my Ph.D. dissertation in science education.
I've also spent 20 years teaching science to college women, some of whom went on to great things (teachers, doctors, politicians, etc.).
Besides that, I'd go with learning French (to some extent...) during several stays in Provence, flying aerobatic sailplanes in Hawaii, getting my Level 2 High Power Rocketry certification, and climbing Mt. St. Victoire. Getting rid of my television was a big one. Oh, and though people will probably never know about it, I think I did some real good by failing certain students who wanted to be nurses but either cheated in class or simply had no clue about the material.
Er, I guess maybe I shouldn't have learned to type at such a young age - I get wordy, don't I?
Congratulations to all of the parents bragging (and deservedly so) about their kids.

hands down the greatest thing I've done is give birth to my son. It was the single most defining moment in my life. There is nothing that can top that! It was such a cool experience! :)
