I mean if you keep it in the bag, for how long can you keep it ? i know you can keep it forever but i mean does the marijuana passes out or does it stay the same?

Cannabis is an herb, so it is the same as any other herb. It will stay potent for quite a long time if stored properly - in an airtight container in the freezer. You want to keep it away from heat, light, and humidity.

It does get quite stale after a while - but it never really loses any strength, it just gets a little harsher to smoke.
Here's a good tip - if you want to preserve your stash, put any you're not likely to smoke for a while in the freezer. It preserves the moisture perfectly. When you are running low on your current smoke, take some out of the freezer and leave it on the side to defrost for a few hours. It will be absolutely fresh as a daisy.
And as a bonus, if you smoke it while its still cool (not frozen obviously!) it tastes very smooth.

Everyone keeps saying freeze it. That is not correct. The trichomes, which make pot sticky, the resin oil drops that contain potent amounts of THC will freeze just like an icicle and easily break off the buds. You don t want your trichomes to fall off your buds before smoking them. Put your weed in an airtight container, impervious to light. Ziplock baggies are fine, but place it into something dark like a Crown Royal bag. Then place it in the back of the refrigerator where it won t get shuffled around a lot, again you don t want the trichomes to break off. Will last a very long time.

We do not use MJ in any form, however, like any other spice or plant, it very likely contains oils that will evaporate eventually into the air and become tasteless. Freezing any spice in a plastic bag will preserve the oils and flavour.

it does loose thc over time...but if youre smoking some danky dank then i find that it gets better over time! if its wet itll dry out and be better to smoke...but if its already dry id put it in an airtight jar...like the kind your mom puts her sugar and flour in, ya know, AIRTIGHT

If you put it in a plastic container and put it in the freezer it will last for years probably.
