My significant other allowes her 15 yr old son to run around in his boxer shorts why his gf is here. They go to his bed room and he locks the door and they spend all there time there only to come out when they need to use the restroom or time for her to go home..? Are these modern times or should there not be any values set for children today?

The mother of the boy allows this kind of behavior to go.. She says nothing to him at all. The young girl is over every day and spends 3 to 4 hours a day..

That is completely inappropriate. A 15-year old boy with his gf does not belong behind a locked door for any length of time! And would you allow your 15-year old daughter to parade around in her bra & panties in front of her bf in your home?
Your SO obviously has issues and needs parental counseling so she can learn how to properly raise her kids. But it may be too late!

ok..that is really wrong! i am only 20, but i remember what i was doing when i was 15 with boys, and you are on the right path! luckily i didn't get pregnant until AFTER i got married. i would have a talking to your significant other, and tell her that that boy could get in a lot of trouble for what he is doing. i really don't think he should be given the chance to impregnate his gf at that age...
he needs to put on some clothes and hang out with her in the family living room, playing board games, video games, cards, whatever. his mom needs to supervise him more. i think maybe you should talk to him about this too...see why he doesn't respect his gf.
good luck.

My father wouldn't even let me wear my bathing suit at home if my boyfriend was there...that was a little over the top.
I was not allowed to have boys in my room and I felt uncomfortable going to my boyfriends house because he always wanted to go to his room and shut the door (and nothing was happening) I just thought it looked bad.
I'm not as concerned about the boxer shorts thing as I am about the room thing. If he is in his room with a girl the door should be open and certainly not locked!

I have a 15 yr old daughter, and she is not allowed to have boys in her room at any time, yes we need values, and parents to TEACH them. What example are you and his mother setting?

That is just wrong and the mother doesn't have any morals and her son is going to grow up without any too. It sounds like the girls parents should be talked to about this behavior.....I would want to know if it was my daughter!!!!

Wouldn't happen in my house!
The parents need to set some standards of civilized behaviour. If parents fail to set the standards, then the children's expectations will be set by MTV, the mainstream media, music videos, etc.

hmm the only times i did this was when i was 18 or 19..15 is way too young dammit. if that kid was my son i'd slap him and that girl friend of his.
but thats better compared to having your son run around outside and getting into REAL TROUBLE. experimenting at home is safer, and its not too late to talk to him.

Does her son have a reason for not acting this way?
Without motivation in the other direction, he'll just get worse

I think it's wrong. I am 24 & married and when we stay at my parents' house when we visit, we both are fully clothed, and sleep with the door open. It's just respectful.
