It is summer right now; so open the windows, put the fans on and wear light bed clothes until the colder weather sets in.
Do not get so stressed if you can.
Check that your not adversily effected by medication and stuff.
It may be due to stress.
If this get worse or prolongs, I would seek medical help.

Some peole wake up in the middle of the night sweating because of their night mares, The nights that you wake up disturbed may be that you are having a bad dream and can not remember any of it by the time you wake up.
You may also have a thing called night sweats. This occurs in many people forf no reason. Try not to sleep with too many covers and see how that works for you

The key to peaceful sleep is peaceful living. Make sure you are getting plenty of exercise during the day (at least 30 mins). Make sure you are eating a balanced diet. If you are stressed at work or in your daily life, find an outlet. Sometimes reading an inspirational work can help.

I would reccomend a visit to webmd.com. Night sweats in combination with other symptoms suchs as fever, and muscle pains are tell-tale signs of Tuberculosis. This can be a serious matter. I would recommend visiting the website and scheduling a time with your physician.

I know that menopause causes night sweats similar to what you describe. but i can't tell if that might apply to you.
i recommend a breathing practice (start with Anna Coy's program) before bedtime.
