I have two friends who've "run away" to Vegas to get married and both of them had the most amazing weddings. One was the coolest, cheeziest, elvisiest weddings you could imagine and the other was a very classic and beautiful affair.
The best thing about a Vegas wedding is the amount of online resources available. You can book everything from home but it's also easy to just go there and get married on the spur of the moment.
A yahoo search with the search terms Vegas wedding will give you some great ideas of what's available.
My friend who had the lovely traditional wedding booked it through here..

It gave them an internet broadcast of the wedding so we could all see it even though we weren't there... loved that feature :)

I suggest the Excalibur for a wedding!
There are many different places to get married in Vegas. The strip is full of those type of places! It depends on the place and what your looking for to determine the price!!

Yes, my manicurist got married four years ago at the Mirage Hotel in Vegas. It was a terrific wedding and very small and intimate. Fun.
After the wedding and the reception (just 20 people) we all went to the light show downtown. Next we went to Club Ra in the Luxor Hotel and danced until it closed at 4AM.

One of my wife's best friends got married at the Tropicana in Las Vegas. It was a small, quick ceremony, but it was nice, and besides, we were all in Vegas!

My cousin got married on one of the bridges at the Venitian, I wasn't able to attend but it sounded wonderful, and a lot cheaper than going to Italy.
