On sims2.com I see many hairstyles/clothes that don't come with the game, and I want to know some websites where I can download them and how to do so. If you can help, thanks!

First of all, many new hairstyles and clothes come with expansion packs, so some of them that you like may just be with those. But for some amazing downloads you can go to http://www.modthesims2.com
They have a huge selection, and are free to sign up for, and the things on there are easy to download if you get QXpress, which is also free, and a part of their site.

go to the sims website there is many things you can download and if you search on the web put in hairstyles/clothes /skins
for the sims 2
many other websites will have them for you to download and all house hold good too
and some of the things will make your money go to $999.999

Why not ask the story tellers where they got their stuff. People are flattered when you enjoy their stories and would like to have information about their props.
It's quite typical on LiveJournal, for example, to ask where costume effects and objects come from.

try the offical sims webiste, i got a cool mansion which my main family now live in, i also have a christmas tree !!
