You need a good lawyer, and as many people as you can who can testify on your behalf. If your lawyer is telling you to take a plea, don't. find another lawyer. If you are in Baltimore, I would recommend Robert Thompson, he is one of the best in Balto. I wish you all the best, pray!

So if you have proof you weren't there, and a witness that can put you somewhere else when this occurred, and the person they are supposed to be ann lewis, who you are not, then get a better lawyer. He should have gone to the prosecuter and judge and had the case dropped if you have all this information. He should also know what evidence the prosecution has so he can counter it.

You should get 11 yrs for the longest run-on sentence ever on Y!A.
Do yourself and your baby a favor - while youre incarcerated in jail, pick up a book and learn, educate yourself. Half this shyte wouldnt have happened to you had you not gottten involved in the situation in the first place. Fact is, if youre innocent, you will be proven so. If youre guilty, you will be found so. Hope you have a decent lawyer and not a county public defender!

Honestly, it couldn't be any worse if you went to trial. Take your chances, see who has the better witnesses and roll the dice.
Email me and I'll send you some pointers on court room looks for you and your side of the story.

Talk to your attorney and get your grandparents and husband to write OFFICIAL letters stating where you were on that date. Also, if you have any friends in the community that the judge would respect, get them to write a letter in reference to your character. Sorry this is happening to you girl... my prayers are goin up for you.

sounds like the prosecution is going to have a difficult time proving your guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

What does your lawyer advise? That's who you should be talking to about this.
