I want to make sure I do this right, so I am asking for advice. If I were to hug my best (girl) friend of two years, in a way to hint I like her more, how should I do it? Exactly?

-How long should it last
-where should my hands go
-how much of our body should touch
-how much pressure

Please answer all, thanks.

Just do what feels right dude. If you like her and you hug her, she will feel it. Just dont squeeze her butt, might lose some points there lol.. Just close your eyes and hold her like you have been wanting to hold her. You should be fine.

The hug doesn't have to last too long for her to get the hint. Always keep your hands in a "decent" area, like the back but a little rub along the sides as you embrace her is good. Your upper body could have full contact, but don't try to do lower body contact, she may find that creepy :) Add enough pressure that it feels warm but not so much that she can't breathe! As the best hug ever begins to end, make sure you look into her eyes as you pull away, and smile! That, I think, could do it! Good luck with this girl. I hope it works out for you :)

Just hug her the way you WANT to. She'll understand. When you pull away from the hug, look into her eyes for a few seconds. If you guys know each other well (which you should after 2 years), you'll know what eachother are thinking.

honestly about the hug thing, have you considered just telling her? i know its scary, but as a girl i hate when guys expect me to read their signals. its frustrating. because you are always wondering, does he like me? was that just a platonic hug? you get all these thoughts in your head and dont get any closer to being with that person. approach it calmy and with no pressure. let love lead you
