Be specific about body positioning... Your head on his/ her chest, their arm across your waist etc... Is there a reason why you sleep that certain way?

While it's romantic to think that you have to be cuddling/spooning to be "in love", the truth is that it gets too darn hot...
My wife of 16 yrs., whom I adore sleeps on her side, and I on mine, though when I/she stir we tend to kiss whatever body part is closes to us before we fall asleep again...

We have two sleeping positions .. there is the spooning where I fit my body into his .. laying side by side .. or there is the one where I lay my head on his chest, my arm around his waist and my right leg is wrapped around his left leg.

I just need to feel his warmth, hear his heart beat and just be close to him. We have spent so many countless nights apart prior (military spouse)

In addition we do have a ritual to light candles before we go to sleep, talk about the day openly while we are cuddling.

If we are asleep, then she has 90% of the bed and I have 10%. she is constantly trying to cuddle up to me, but I have a hard time sleeping like that, thus the reason I sleep at the very edge of the bed. However, if the dog is up there, then he gets 30%, she gets 65% and I get 5%. she also hits me without knowing so I try to keep my distance. One night sho shived her finger up my nose and didn't know till she heard me swearing owww what the! I sleep in the fetal position or on my back, and i roll most of the night.

My BF and I only get to spend everyother weekend together (LDR) so when we do get to sleep together, no matter which way we are sleeping a part of our body is touching. Sometimes so much so that our arms and legs are wrapped around eachother. We can actually fall asleep like that lol.

Me and my fiance Always sleep in the spoon position. The reason we sleep that way, is that we feel a sense of security and comfort when we're that close. I can;t sleep any other way.

My sweet boyfriend sleeps on the outside of the bed (it is against the wall). I turn on my side and curl up and he does the same right next to me. Then, he puts his arm over me and holds my hand. He is so sweet. I love sleeping with him.

Normally He is on his left side facing me with his right arm over me and his left arm is stretched out. I am on my right side facing him with my head on his left arm and my right arm is curled up or laying between up(which ever is comfortable) and my left arm is over him so l can rub his back, or sometimes l rub my hand through his hair. l like sleeping this way, l can smell him and we are as close as we can get to each other.

Spoon, one arm around me usually resting my tummy or below my breast or even at my breast itself and me just under his neck against his chest, his hips cupping my hips, it adds a certain sort of feminity to me and him my protector. Atleast its how I feel in that position. Or I spoon him. Then there's me half lying on him, head on his chest (fall asleep listening to his heartbreat), right leg thrown over both of his. Or we sleep face to face holding hands between us, sometimes there's nothing better than waking up to your loved one's face totally relaxed in sleep.

each on our own side of the bed, unless its winter. A good nights sleep is very important. We have a great relationship that way

He lays with his back to me and I lay on my side up against his back. That way he does not breath in my face. It used to upset me because he always turned his back on my but he said the only way he can sleep is on his left side. We pretty much stay that way all night. So what ever works.
