Yes I do. Also by smail mail & phone. There are lots of diff't types of mess'rs also. MSN. Yahoo. Aim. ICQ. hmmm what else. There's this thing called eyeball chat where it has 3 of these things on it but something happened after I tried it out for a bit... Is better to get the 3 individual mess'rs I think. Webcams make it seem more real that you're sorta w/ the person, esp w/ the usage of a mic :) Good luck.

Yes, it is a good way, but it souldn't be the only way. When living far away from eachother it is important to keep communication, but you have to feel like you are still a part of this persons life, so just e-mails might not cut it. Pictures, mail, phone calls, visits if possible are all important.

yes, obviously you havent delved into a really serious relationship, and unless you are not a clingy psyco who assumes everything out of thin air,its the perfect way to keep in touch and keep the fire recandled. You can stay updated about that person and so do they about you, also make them feel as you are present in their life in both santimental and frienship-like way.

I think it is a good way. You would probably want to talk on the phone once in a while too, but for the day to day talk, email is good.

I started the relationship I'm in with e-mails (success story for Yahoo! Personals), and it's a decent venue for stayin in touch...IM is an added asset.
