Or would you as parents stand up to the Seanists and shout them down at every school board meeting possible saying Not in my child's class room will you teach that idea without any empirical evidence.

That's not to say that the Theory of Creation by *Sean* in comparative religion isn't practical, it most certainly is.

The jury's still out on that one. Does Seanism encourage pirate-wear?

Perhaps you could send some male concubines my way to help me decide?

Personal beliefs are just that, personal, and as such have no place in the classroom to be taught and passed as truth. I would not put my children in any school or with any teacher that would teach such theories as if they are facts, and any that did would have me bursting into the classroom with more than just a mouthful of arguments as to why I cannot accept that. I want my children to be tolerant free thinkers who respect Seanists as well as people of other religions and make their own choices as to what they believe, not to be brainwashed and force-fed by people who think they know it all.

No 'intelligent design' should be taught without evidence. Even Sean.

It's at least as plausible as the christian myth. So, they both need to be kept OUT of the classroom.
Want to teach or learn that crap? Fine, do it in church.
When ideas and thinking are allowed in church, then fantasy and mythology will be taught in school...

We should indeed, but I think you would first have to explain the concept of empirical evidence to those who object.

Sure, why not. It would help their young minds to get into the right place to begin questioning all religions equally. LOL

So, do you say "Go Bears", or "Go Bulls" or no sports?
