I think hes doing really go at trying tobe a good dad. Don't pusht he issues because then you might get a few bucks, but you child might suffer if he pulls away. This is worht much more than any money could buy for your child. You are very lucky.

As the father, he should be putting a roof over her head. I have bought both and cloths and food for kids I’ve babysat. That did not mean I was providing for them in an adequate fashion.

This decision is only yours to make though. If you are managing alright without child support/and alimony, then you will not need to ask for more. This is not about being greedy or getting the best deal. Nor should the man be thinking about getting off as easily as possible.

It is about the child’s care today and in her future. You really should be responsible as a mother and ensure that your child has a secure future – and that does mean that the father provides now and in the future. Weigh the pros and cons. Or talk to him (in a no threatening way) about your future.

i dunno. i mean on the one hand he is contributing when he has her but on the other hand the bigger she /he gets the more expenses the child will have. at the same time if u seem to be sharing the child equally which it sounds like if he has the child for about half the week then maybe you should consider filing joint custody so that neither of you have to pay since you both pay already. I think that is what i would do as long as he would continue to take the child a few times a week.

That's up to you but why would you put that financial stress on him if he's there for her? Just because your on medical doesn't mean you have to admit you know who your daughters father is.I would let it be he's being more of a dad then most and if she's bring taken care of I wouldn't. But you have to do what you think is best. Talk to him and see what he has to say....

taking the child out does not mean he has the money or can afford it. The courts in your country will decide whether you have to pay him child support or not..... Plz remember he is supporting you in terms of taking care of the child.... should you not reciprocate

first of all it depends on what the court order is, and there are many details like medical insurance, etc that involved everybody's situation is different and that is why u must go to court to weigh the resources and divide the time. goodluck

I am glad that you at least care because some don't!

no i would not, for he is paying child support by doing for the child when he spend his time and money without someones foot on there neck there is no reason that they should be in any court

Sure child support money isn't just for the mother, but it is for the child when they grow up, School, clothes, etc.

Yes... Because he is OBLIGATED to do so... Just because he spends money on her like HE SHOULD BE DOING ANYWAYS>>>> doesnt release him from the fact that he SHOULD be paying child support.

nope cause then the child would be asked out. It seams that the father is doing more then his part if hes doing what you say. if you putt him on child support you maybe asked out i mean he might been in titled to less then what hes doing now.
