What do you mean by bad code?

If you're referring to a bad conduct discharge, you can file an appeal to have it lifted to an other than honorable. If not, I believe you have to wait a minimum of two years before you can attempt to reenlist. I could be wrong, so you may want to investigate further.

What is the reentry code on you member-4 copy of your DD-214? If it is a 3 or 4 forget about it, a 2 maybe with some work, and of course a 1 means you are always welcome back. If you have a 1 or a 2 you would have to talk to a recruiter.
