Whats that about? why are some people like that? I knew people at school like that. If they see a bible they will spit inside it and throw it.

dont worry about what other people act like about the bible. your going to get alot of grief about reading the bible in public now days. its a common thing because there are so many people that feel threatened by christ and his power. i would just suggest ignoring them. also, drinking the beer isnt wrong, but getting drunk and reading the bible would be considered to some people rude and disrespectful since the bible is considered a holy thing and getting drunk is spoken against clearly in the bible. it makes people question your motives. but it doesnt matter, reading the bible is a good thing, no matter what you are doing at the time. its better to be educated and informed than to not be. information is power, and truth is a saving grace. so read your bible and drink a beer if it makes you happy and just ignore all the other peoples comments.

The only way to read the Bible is while knocking back a few. Makes it more interesting. And since I believe most of the Bible was written by alcoholics, you are only getting a better understanding of thier intentions while reading it buzzed.

Even atheists should read the bible at least once. It makes you a more educated person, if you don't believe a word it says. I had to read "The Communist Manifesto" for a class once. I was so disgusted with it when I was done that I threw it across the room, but now I KNOW that I am so disgusted with that if I had to read it again I would throw it across the room!

they know if they read that bible they would have to change their lives. it's easier for them to wallow in sin an misery than be good.

because they dont want to know the great things that God has instructed us to do.. and that is to follow His ways. Man.. never mind them! theyre just too coward to follow some rules.
