No I don't think so you are putting yourself out there...just like telling someone you love them...you never know if they are going to even respond!
You have to buck up and not be so cheap to reap the benefits.
Anyway if some one does answer ...you can select a best answer and get back point's ...so the point loss is virtually nil compared to the knowledge gained.
I don't even know why I am answering this...I despise cheap and petty people!
But let me give you a tip...ask lots of Q's it will bring attention to you.

I don't think so! It is just taking a chance and just like in life, you when some and you lose some. Also it only takes answering a few questions to get those points back. You lose to gain...
