Please read for all the details! (IMPORTANT!)?

Question

On freewebs.com I'd like to change the domain name.

Example -

Change the domain name from

www.freewebs.com/example/

to

www.freewebs.com/newname/

Does anyone kow how? If its not possible then are there any sites that you can create your own free website with at least 10 pages, including web forms, guestbooks, and blog?

Any Suggestions?

if you log into your account under "my account" there should be the option to change user name,its not listed as "change domain name"because its the user name that is what is at the end of the domain.have you already made a site.you can add loads of pages ect with freewebs.view mine to c what you can do www.freewebs.com/sammydeea


ps..just had a look and its actully under change profile thats were you delete the user name,enter the new one and it will change it on the domain. good luck

I went there briefly.

Try this,

Save all of the content you have on the old site to your local drive.

Delete the old account.

Create a new account with the new name you want.

Upload all of the content you saved to your local drive.
