The officer lives on vacation?? What department is this? I'd like to work there. Seriously, now, if you're asking how to get a copy of your accident report from a month ago, he certainly should have finished it prior to his living on vacation. Just call the police station and find out what you need to do to get a copy of the report. If he did not finish the accident report, then that's a problem that should be reported to his supervisor.

The office only made the report and then turned it into the police department. Go there and tell them your name, the date of the accident, and the other information you have. They will pull up the report and charge you a few bucks to pick it up. Simple as that.
