If he wants us to have the free will to believe in him without appearing to us like he did to the people in the Old Testament, did he not give them the free will to decide for themself? For example, he appeared to Moses as a burning bush. Did Moses have a choice but to believe at that point? Where was his free will? He was a pawn of God's from there on. There is no free will in that.

Something doesn't compute.

The first thing for you to understand is that the loss of definitions of "GOD" and "free will" have caused you to ask incorrectly crafted questions and your answerers to propose irrelevant answers.
GOD definition: (Yin) Generating. Organizing. Destroying. Screen of the Mind.
Free Will definition: Vote for your selection of 5 possibilities at the moment of each proposed alteration of the timeline by the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY: Greater Yang, Lesser Yang, Central or Destiny, Lesser Yin, and Greater Yin.
Aaron instructed Moses to see him as a burning bush. No, Moses did not have a choice. Under other circumstances, there is an exception possible: a prior command override either given in Heaven or inside the Waking Dream (earth) that has not been commanded to be ignored.
As a general rule, the Master will appear to you or let you know his identity when you as a society are ready, or privately when you are ready, and only if you happen to be living or working close to him.
Everything does in fact compute, beautifully and miraculously. Get past your laziness. The information for your understanding is literally surrounding you. Do not hesitate to study ALL SPIRITUAL TEXTS. People too lazy to read the Bagavad Gita or the Koran do not deserve to know the utter simplicity of the truths that the Master has sprinkled around like diamonds.

First of all, everyone has the choice and Moses definately did and he choose God. Did you know that Moses murdered someone and did you know that he tried taking off from God after the burning bush experience and he was married and had two boys and he still chose to do what God wanted him too. And furthermore God didnt and never has appeared to everyone, not every single person. In the Old testament it was the chosen priesthood that were selected,(for whatever reason) to be the spokesmen of God and it was their duty to relay the message from God and give it to the people, so it wasn't everyone who had visions of God ! And the same is true today, some do and some don't !

Good question that most Christian churches don't have a good answer for. Why do they worship a God that stopped speaking to man 2000 years ago? Why has God stopped speaking to man?

The answer is that these churches are false and they give lip-service to God, but little else.

God does appear to people now. See the LDS religion, which is based upon modern day visitations and revelation - a restoration of the true church.

I disagree with you on the Moses free will thing though. Even after Moses had seen his vision of the burning bush, he still had the option to refuse to serve God. Would it have been a wise move? Probably not...

I think that God is quite easy going unless you've got a spiritual relationship going with him - he also has an insight into the future. He obviously knew that Moses was someone he could count on and decided to reach out to him. Moses went ahead and decided that he would work with God. Moses did have free will because there was a time when he offended God which was why he was not allowed to go into Canaan. If he didn't have free will he would not have been able to do that.

God didn't appear to people in a physical form in the old testament because he gave them a free will. As you said, everyone was created with a free will. He appeared to them that way because mankind was young and needed everything to be physical or rather in a physical way. They didn't understand spiritual things yet like a young child can't understand adult things. In the bible, in Hebrews chapter 1 verse 2 the author says that God spoke to man in the old testament in different and diverse ways but in these last days he speaks to us through His Son,Jesus. All Jesus's words he spoke that are recorded in the bible are God speaking to us today. Jesus hadn't come yet back then. But the bible says that no man has ever seen God at any time. Yet Genesis says that Moses spoke with God face to face. So there seems to be a contradiction there unless....... the one that Moses spoke with was really ....... Jesus. Something to think about.

God did not appear to people in the OT, he spoke to them. God only appeared to Adam and Eve as he "walked" with them in the Garden of Eden, however that may be symbolic.

God spoke to Moses through the burning bush, but read that part more closely--Moses didn't want to do what God told him to do, because of his studder. Check out Exodus 3 and 4. Moses obeyed God because he knew that God was in his corner.

As to why God doesn't speak to us anymore the way he did in the Old Testament, I don't know. I personally believe that we need to look harder for him, in the small everyday things, because if we expect to be sitting at home watching TV and God speaks to us, we're kidding ourselves. I hope that helps!

God appeared in Old Testament. God, as Jesus Christ, made a personal appearance in the New Testament. God sent his only son to die for our sins. Jesus was crucified, dead and buried in a tomb. On the third day He rose again. What more proof does God need to offer to us as evidence of His existence? Your free will come into play as to whether or not your willing to accept the gift of salvation that God has given you by believing in the Gospel. God's not going to force you to believe in Him, but He sure made the path clear and easy.

He will not appear to anyone now because if he did and if the person said i saw god he would end up in an institution for being diagnosed for some kind of Psychosis.

It was easy for god to deal with the immature audiance now man is far mature and has very high reasoning power.

Sure there is, he could have just thought he was hallucinating and blew God off completely. Maybe you should just say I give up all rights of free will and then see what happens. Besides if you believe so much about that then why not believe that he is really a good God and he is here for you?

God doesn't appear to people now because we have His complete Word in the Bible. There is no need for Him to show Himself to us anymore. We have what we need to believe. In the OT, the Word of God was incomplete. That's why He appeared to Moses, Joshua, etc.
