Your credit rating is but one thing that they will look at in your background. If your credit rating is poor, and owe a lot of money, you may be considered a security risk (people might bribe you for secrets to pay your debts) and they won't grant you a security clearance. This can affect the types of jobs available to you.

As others have also mentioned, if you fail to pay your debts, your creditors can call your commander, who will insure that you do pay your debts.

They are going to expect you to satisfy your financial obligations. If the bill collectors make contact with your commanding officer, he will do more than nag you like your mother. His actions are more like you being a small rat in the mouth of a very big dog. They are going to ride you hard enough over petty failings, make sure that your disposable income goes straight to disposing your bills or it will be more than bill collectors that bite your rump. Despite all the nonsense that the military puts up with, and despite the disservice the reruns of MASH do, the rigidity of military life and expectations, especially at the very beginning are just a tad bit better than jail (and military jails are certainly no picnic either). As long as your bills are managable, and that you definitely do manage them, your credit will be a non-issue--but you better keep it that way or it becomes an enormous issue if the bill collectors touch the right button (and most all of them know how to push it).

Your credit will not be an issue on you entering the military. It may have an effect on the job you want, but shouldn't prevent you from just entering the military.

I wouldn't think the military cares much about your credit. Thank you for you service.

At this point I think they will take just about anybody. Odds are that your chances are better than ever.
