Of course its not wrong. Its about keeping an open mind, listening to what others have to say, thinking about it, making your own contributions to the dialogue, and then seeing how you feel about it all.

Yes, it is SO, SO, SO VERY WRONG! The Mormon should do the inviting, since the Mormon is the one who wants to share the word. For the Mormon to influence the Catholic to host the event instead is just plain selfish and manipulative, as well as rude.
The same would be true if, say, a person from Michigan wanted to share pictures of his recent trip to Branson, Missouri - and he go his friend in Ohio to invite him over so he could show them.
Seriously - what a ridiculous question.

It is not wrong for the Catholic to do so, but since Mormons follow a different word of God, why would the Catholic want to do, except out of curiosity?

No, but remember that you are a Catholic and that you should know Jesus already. We (Catholics) were the first church of Jesus Christ. You should know that. A Protestant-Mormon should not have to tell you that which you already know.

No it's actually part of a Christians job to teach others especially if they have been misled, but sometimes it is difficult to talk to a Mormon. They get very antsy and try to leave many times when you point out the innaccuracies of their doctrine and reference the Scriptures. If you have sufficient Bible knowledge and can use a concordance, I say go for it.

No it is not wrong. I have done so. However, (THIS IS NOT AN INSULT TO MORMONS) they seem only interested in converting me. They do not seem happy with just talking. But if you and the Mormon missionaries are just talking, that is great. We should respect other peoples religion.

Why would an open dialogue ever be wrong?? I think that any time people can share their beliefs in an atmosphere of respect, only good things will come of it.
Go for it, and way to be open minded.

no. two people sitting down discussing the Bible goes back a long way a very long way everybody wants to share their point of view because they are sure they are right. if you are an opened minded person you would want different points of view, discussion is good for the soul

They should have a fist-fight. It's just as productive with the same logic based in reality.

Not at all, it shouldn't be wrong for two theists of any religion to share their stories and perceptions of "God".
