LOL Only if he's a 10 year old human. Good news is- he'll outgrow it. Like around 45 or so. LOL
All joking aside - little boys at 10 are struggling with things like legs that are too long and trying to figure out how to become a young man while still feeling like a baby most days. His friends are changing, school is starting back, his clothes are wrong. It's a lot of pressure on a little guy. Tough job. So yeah, he won't remeber to put his sneakers away. And he does not have adult priorities or decision making abilities. But he's probably a wondeful little boy.
But know that your opinion of him is the most important thing in his world right now. Hug him alot, even when he doesn't want you to. Tell him you are proud of him for_____ (find something). His self esteem for the rest of his life is forming right now and it comes from you.

so is being deaf at that age and until they get the brain turned to the on position.

Yes, it's normal. Every day I remind my 12 year old son to please write his assignments down in his agenda, and please do his chores. Make your child notes, a calendar for chores and things to remember, and put it in their room. Make sure that they read it every day. It will, eventually, start to sink in. My son is learning responsibility slowly but surely.

YES THIS IS VERY NORMAL, AND GUESS WHAT? IT GETS WORSE IN THE TEEN AGE YEARS! BUT DON'T WORRY WE CAME THROUGH IT JUST FINE.
