i try not to insult anyone not even christians but its bound to happen since most of the time i feel like i am being insulted by the fanatic christians in here. as a spiritualist i feel insulted when people say christianity is spiritual and i know its not a spiritual belief system to begin with and i also feel insulted when christians tell me i am going to hell but i dont let it get to me since i follow the idea of "pity the souls for they are not worthy of getting mad at" i dont hate christians as people i just hate the religion that they follow for it has created some nasty people of the centuries and all that. christians you all deserve the insults that are thrown at you by atheist and non christians since you brought it on your selves all these years

I assume by this you mean the apparent trend of some that now claim "Christianity isn't a religion, it's a FAITH" or a spiritual thing. Which I can agree is hogwash. Christianity may include spirituality, but Christianity by that name is an ORGANIZED RELIGION. A spirituality outside an organized religion or other group or concept has no name. If someone claims it's not a religion then they should not claim that they are a Christian.
I think sites like this mainly do attract the fanatics as a place they can carry on about it. The non fanatics are the rest that aren't blabbering on or are actually out living their lives. And really, if some like to be so insulting and mean on here, then they get what is coming to them when the "(insert insulting remark) atheists and non-Christians" say stuff back at them.

I don't really get how you cannot see that christianity is spiritual considering that it relates to a God that is a spirit, but hey-ho, each to their own.
some people get touchy when you an outsider gives an opinion about their beliefs because Christianity is already a 'dirty-word' in the west. I don't think all christians are like that but some of the old school christians are.

what most people forget is that being a christian is a personal relationship with the Lord and just like any relationship its what you put into it that counts,i am a christian and i try to live that way,i do mess up at times and i repent for it,i try not to judge or insult others for what they believe,i would say i get insulted when other people say Christianity is a fairy tale ,or that i am wrong in what i believe,if you cant accept my beliefs fine ,but dont tell me im wrong because for me its right,im not brainwashed or narrow minded,as for other Christians i cant answer for them in fact some Christians i even have doubts about so please dont say all are bad because we aren't for me its a lifestyle not a religion

I agree with you so much, BUT, not all Christians are the ignorant and bigoted fanatics. Some of them can actually think independent thoughts that make sense. In fact, I bet most of them can. The fanatics are the minority. I do pity their hatred and bigotry, in a way.

You have never insulted me or any other real Christian. You lack that ability. For to be insulted I have to take offence.
As far as fanatics go, I dislike them all. Consider this, if there is a hell and you end up there. Can you say you were never warned?

wow, i'm a christian and i'm not going to insult you or anything. but christianity is very spiritual, if you truly are a christian you have the Holy Spirit living within you. I am a very spiritual person and I love God with all my heart. yes it is true that a lot of christians critisize other religions and faiths and such for not being christian. but i don't, there is only one God, and everyone has to find their own way to Him.

We don't hate you, we have some people with poor communication skills , but don't generalize ALL Christians as such.
And don't be offended that we think Christianity is Spiritual.
I believe it is, although I come short of calling it my religion. I prefer to refer to it as " My way of Life".

Religion turns people nasty. I'm frequently quoted scripture at and condemned but it seems i know the bible a lot better than some christians out there. And why should i be condemned for having different beliefs? I live a decent life and yet i'm still destined for hell apparently. It's a sad system.

Have you ever watched Silent Hill (based on the video game)? This is how i view christianity, and to think killing and torturing others who were witches, or just accused of it really happened hundreds of years!
