you think 6 are enough?

Everyone is different when it comes to the amount of time they need to sleep. If you sleep for 6 hours and do not feel sluggish or get tired easily throughout the day, then 6 hours are enough for you. Some people need more sleep and some need less. Only you can decide how much you need.

Don't deprive yourself of sleep though, or try to "catch up" on sleep on the weekends; this can decrease your immune responses and cause you to get sick far more easily.

that depends on how hard you work and how deep you sleep! If you sleep deeply and your work is light work then 6 hours is sufficient. How ever if you sleep lightly and you work deeply then that is when the 8 hours sleep is needed! At onetime everyone had to work hard and they got sore from work so their sleep was light.. this is where the 8 hours sleep requirement came from! Things are changed we don't work like our Great GrandParents did so 8 hours sleep isn't necessary for most people. Sleep is actually over rated while rest is under rated! For me my work is light mostly so 6 hours of sleep works fine for me.. Sometimes though I do lie down for a 20- 40 minute rest. Sometimes just watching a Soap is sufficient rest for me. There are times I do work hard.. gardening or Sorting tons of Books at a place I volunteer for that I find I need 7 hours sleep except when I sleep real deeply!

Individuals vary. But, on average, if you are young and healthy, I'd say 6 is not enough, long term. I would encourage a minimum of 7, with a couple of 8 Plus hour sleeps each week. Being short of sleep will contribute to poorer performance and auto accidents.

on average adults should be getting 8-10 hrs. but you can function on 6 and with your work scheduale you really kinda have too. i wouldn't reccomend that scheduale for too long though as it will wear on your body. To many people are neglecting there sleep nowadays and the consequences on their health later in life do not bode well. Sleep is your bodies time to reboost and work out all the lil issues it has, not getting enough limits what your body can do to keep you healthy.
