Sure!! We handled our dog's pups right after. Just keep a good eye on the mama dog. If she's not happy with the handling, then keep it to a minimum, and to be on the safe side watch small children around her and the pups in the beginning, in case the mama dog gets grumpy.

if she had the puppies ok and doesn't need assistance you don't need to handle the puppies right away however if there is problems and you have wear surgical gloves so the mother's scent isn't lost as that's how they identify and bond with them, this goes also for when you need to change the whelping box. wear surgical gloves wait 2 month to sex them if it's hard to tell what you have you don't want to handle them too much as the mother may snap at you. to protect them and it will make her feel inadequate as their mother.

The puppies are an afternoon previous, you are able to no longer play with them dummy.....go away them be....the mummy will shelter them and you're able to purely cope with in case you are able to desire to, no longer which you rather prefer to.....do no longer disturb them until they become a touch older and are in a position to circulate around good and can actually see you so which you've them become conscious of people

It's ok to handle them, just not too much. Let the momma to the work that she needs to do with the new pups.

Yes, it's ok. You should however respect your female's need to keep her pups safe. You shouldn't let anyone other than immediate family in to handle her pups. She will let you know if she's getting upset, but most females love having their owners close by and they know you're helping.

Yes, you can handle them. Like other people said, go by what Mama thinks is ok.

Yes, as long as the female is OK with it, it is ok to handle the newborn pups.

Yes, you want to handle them a little bit each day. Give them PLENTY of love! This will "imprint" them to humans and make them better pets.
