I met this guy several times at a local college, this past weekend there was a party and i saw him there. He and i had talked previously about how we were excited to see eachother. Anyways, whenever i got there, he seemed to be flirting with my friend!! My friend dresses kind of whorish and always wants attention. I was jealous, but by the end of the night he focused his attention on me. I ended up staying with him, but we didnt sleep together, just the minor stuff. He had told me he had decided to stop sleeping around so much. His friends told me he really was stopping. Well the next morning i left, anyways i feel like he thought i just wanted a fling. I told him i wouldnt have stayed with him if thats what i wanted. He says he feels bad for messing around at all if hes trying to change. He told me hes just unsure about what he wants and is concerned with the distance. We dont live far away at all tho! He wants time to think. What is he really thinking!?

When guys want to time to think it never turns out good. If they don't know what they want in the first place more than likely it won't be you. He probable thought that you two were just having fun and didn't want anything serious out of it.

Going off the behavior and what he's said according to the story.....I'd say he's wanting to "keep you around" as a spare.....so to speak. He may like you, but mostly if he was that interested in your friend that night for the most part, he's not really changing. Especially if he went back and started stirring things up with you that very night. "Pig" as most people would call that.

I think he really is not that into you and he just wants you there when he has time and when he is in the "mood" not necessarily to have to go all the way. But if he was interested in you he wouldn't be doing that to your friend in front of you. If you think if he really is trying to change then play hard to get and if he is worth it and cares for you in anyway he will work at it!

Once a whore always a whore. He is not going to stop sleeping around. He sound like a player. I think him giving you that bullshit line is the best thing he could have done for you. Find you somebody who does not think of sex so casually.

It's hard to really tell what he's thinking. He may be just thinking exactly what he told you, and he needs time to sort things out. Be patient, I think his actions will be the best way to tell. Hang in there, and relax... just spend some quality time with him, and see how it goes.

he sounds like he's playing you, and he wants some distance from you so he can bang your whorish friend. go find a good guy and leave this one alone.

He's thinking exactly he told you. If he is trying to change his ways he certainly doesn't want to jump into anything. Give him some space and let him think.

He got what he needed for the night. It doesn't really sound as though he ever wanted anything else.

I think he just wanted a fling and since you didn't put out, he is just moving on.
You sound like you want to date, he sounds like he wants to just have fun. You dont sound like fun. He is moving on
