Sounds like this question pertains to what is happening in India. Some fundamental Hindus want to celebrate the centenary of a patriotic song, "Vande Mataram", on September 7, which the Muslims are opposing, coz it glorifies a Hindu goddess. They especially want all the school kids to sing it on Sep 7. A big debate is flaring.

India has bigger issues to deal with, like hunger, malnutrition, dowry deaths, etc. It infuriates me when human effort is wasted on such religion-based man-made issues!

I think Muslim 's of all ages should at least confront the issues to separate themselves from terrorists much as immigrant Italians had to do the same with Mafia stereo-types .Are they really so scared as to become so complaisant?
this is America I presume u r American so get into the fray and show some good faith ...I have Muslim friends and I've grown a lot from their conversant edification.

I don't know what is wrong with Sep. 7th. but anyway Muslim parents should not be separated from the community at any circumstance. we have to stand for our values and prove that we are all against terrorism and false ideas

Nope.Muslims are encouraged to go out to learn.

Muslim parents should not be trapped by terrorists plan to alienate them.

They should not be afraid. If they are afraid, they will be forever afraid.

Step out because children/students have a right to learn.

Let's all live in harmony so that nothing can split humans up.

That's the true human spirit.
