really what will you get out of it? i dont believe in christianity and never will and i have been to the other side and back just as any person who gets reincarnated and bet half of the christians on here have been on this earth many times in past lives and i even bet none of them where christian back then. you can pray and preach to me until you are blue in the face but you will never see me be a christian as long as i live on this earth and some day all of christianity will fall and its already falling.

3.4 million christians deconvert on a yearly basis and more and more fundamental christians come on here and in chatrooms to insult and degrade others so where is the love in all that and why bother with preaching since it doesnt work on anyone at all period

Christianity is similar to a mortally wounded animal.

The truth is destroying their book of mythology and fairy tales leaving only the diehard fanatics left to "defend the faith." As their cults die off, they will become even more desperate and radical.

Marx opined religion is the opium of the masses for good reason. Bible thumpers being deprived of their narcotic will resort to anything to prevent it being taken away.

This is the Religious page! It is not Philosphy pages! Why do you feel insulted by some other opinion unless you want to "convert someone here!" Hm?! Where did you get your figures(3.4 million)? and deconvert would indicate someone had a prior version to convert from then change again ,right? If and emphasize IF there was a conversion! Most degrading commentary I've read doesn't come from Loving disciples of Christ! However there are a number of "Cardboard christians" that act like pseudo-Hitlers, from around the world, much like empty hearted Pharisees following rote without compassion! These are very likely to pervert right into KKK zealots!

To answer your question on why Christians attempt to witness to you is because A> Christ told all that are in Him, meaning all who are Christians are to preach the Good News. B> Because they have compassion for you.

I'm sorry that some Christians have been offensive, many Christians are unfortunately not well trained so to speak on how to effectively and calmly witness.

Do what you like.. no one is holding you by the neck,... but if you ask a question about Christianity , people will just tell you why they believe in it,, thats all.. and the Christians who insult would be fed up from being insulted too by others.

guardian_angel14701,
It reminds me of me.

I wasn't born a Christian, you know. I had to start listening somewhere.

This is reminding me of the situation in Iraq. Where we have our troops in that country, and Muslims from miles around are coming to Iraq and getting their a$ses killed. We don't have to go anywhere to find them, they are stupid enough to go to Iraq. Such are their Ahole leaders.

And you come here with that load of crap. Why do YOU bother? You said you don't believe, you seem not to even be interested. So aint that a load of crap. You think that you can get US to change?

What a hypocrit.

I don't know why they feel they need to browbeat you, but isn't it annoying? They should take you at your word that you believe what you do. A belief is a belief. Not something you can be convince of otherwise. Some decisions have to be made on your own. You can't proselytize a belief.

I get the satisfaction of knowing that at least I tried to change/improve someones life by spreading the word about christianity.

We get a clean conscience out of it. We're commanded by God's Word to "Go ye out into the highways and the hedges and compel them to come in." We are to be witnesses to that effect and if we fail in God's direction, we fail ourselves and disappoint Him. Would we go to Hell for avoiding God's call? I hope not, but I certainly wouldn't want to end up in the belly of a whale for not doing it either! (Jonah)

We as Christians are told to spread the good news of the gospel, it is expected of us from God. In obedience if nothing , we tell others, who know some might be saved.
