Bobby Flay the Barbeque/Grille man on the Food Network does it this way.

Cut the lobster in half lengthwise from between the eyes through the tail.
Sprinkle herbs, salt and pepper and butter over the meat side and place the halves shell side down over the grille.
Heat the grille to 400 degrees or medium high if you don't have a thermometer.
Close the lid and check after 10 minutes. If the shell has turned red and the juices are bubbling then it is down. Better to under cook than overcook as you can always cook longer but overcooked lobster is tough and dry.
Top with fresh parsley and lemon wedges and serve.

I personally like a little cajun seasoning (or Old Bay) on top for color and a spicy kick.
I have also wrapped in foil and poured fume blanc or your favorite white wine and steamed it in the foil for 15 minutes and it comes out moist.

You place your Lobster in a pan of boiling water .
I must admit this sounds a little cruel but actually its the most humane way The Lobster will die very quickly and will be in a very short period of time .{About 7 to 9 Minutes will be cooked . ENJOY.

You should kill it first. Take a knife to the back of the head and cut down the full length of the body/tail. drizzle butter, wrap in foil and grill for about 10-15 minutes around 350. Good luck!!
Yummy..

i would say boil it quick first because to put it on a grill, it would die slowly and the meat would toughen up.

Unfortunately, you should take a sharp knife and pop it into the head between the eyes; then pop on the "Q"...
