purchased a nokia phone on sunday for 17100 rupees and price on tuesday weent down to 15100 rupees... y this? y is the company cutting the rates of its phones like this?? does nny there no the reason and what is the strategy of the company as they reduce rates like this !!!!!!!!!!!!!

where I live, they don't have any prices on any of the phones... They make it that way because I think they charge different amounts to different customers depending on their call plan. The phone carriers are mostly interested in keeping you with their plan for as long as possible. The typical contract here is two years and you get a free phone. I recently bought a new Nokia phone for $250 US ~ I would have gotten it for free if I had signed on for another two years. They are that expensive because of all the features they offer. At least you chose a Nokia phone ~ in my opinion those are great phones ~ much better than samsung and motorola etc.

Could be any number of reasons. Excess stock, the phone is popular anymore, in the sale, they are making room for newer models. If it works then go for it.
