I have! Listen, if it has a little water bubble on the surface and blackish or a bruised look around the edges, Get help. They give a anti-venom shot that keeps your skin from rotting. The poison spreads quickly. I have a small scar on my arm. It will also itch and burn like a bee sting. God Bless You and take care.

I have seen many brown recluse bites. By the second day they are redden swollen and tender and hot to touch. They will sometimes cause a abscess like area, with a crusty edge. Depending on you reaction, you can run fever, feel like the flu or just be a little tired. If there is red streaks running away from the primary site, you need to see a doctor, this can be worsening infection. If you become short of breath, have difficulty swallowing or talking go to the ER immediately, this can be an allergic reaction. Depending on the depth and severity of the wound, you might need a course of antibiotics. You can take Tylenol or Advil for pain, and can try Benadryl. It will reduce the swelling. Don't open it, but if it is, put a sterile dressing in place. When in doubt go to the doctor!

If it was a brown recluse you would know it. The skin would be breaking open and the edges turning black by now. If that is the case you need to seek medical attention NOW! A bite from a recluse can cause kidney failure.
Here is a website that shows what can happen after a bite... http://www.surviveoutdoors.com/emergency/spiderbites_recluse.asp

Yea, if it was a brown recluse bite wouldn't your skin be rotting in that area by now? Just go see a Dr. if your concerned they can tell you if the bite was from a recluse not Yahoo Answers unless they plan on making a house call.

No I have never been bitten but have known two people who have and let me tell you..get to a Dr. fast. The other answerer is very correct. My uncle was bitten on the back of the neck by one and he suffered greatly. The other person I knew was a nurse and she ended up having part of her upper thigh removed. So if you suspect it is a brown recluse you had better seek medical care.\
The brown recluse is a long-legged spider and if I recall correctly has a fiddle shaped mark on it. Look up a picture of it on Google Image. Good luck kid.

Brown. long legs, fiddle on abdomen. Bite causes necrosis of tissue around it, and debridement is indicated.
