Briefly, I like that America keeps wars off it's turf so I can feel reasonably safe living here. I like the beautiful landscape of our land, the mountains, parks, and seas on both shores. I dislike people coming here to use our (taxpayer) money to live on and abuse the system. I dislike politicians who abuse the system too and are looking out for their own interests more strongly than being a servant to our nation.

America is far from perfect, but it is still the best place on planet Earth. To those who fought for it, freedom has a taste the protected will never know. That's why we say that freedom is not free. It may be free TO YOU, but somebody paid the price for you ... and you should look upon all those in uniform as your best friends. Most of them would give their lives for you ... just like many already have! What I dislike about America is the courts ... especially the Supreme Court. Legislation from the bench is slowly sending this country down the tubes.

Like: that it is a young country which has contributed so much to the world (culturally, technologically), and achieved so much. Others like to sniff at American culture, but they gave us jazz and rock and roll. Look at Europe going cock-a-hoop over landing a vehicle on the moon, or China putting a man in orbit. America did these things decades ago. I admire the stability of its constitution and its interesting history. It helped Europe during its darkest hours during WW2 and afterwards. And as a stamp collector, I think America makes some great stamps.
Dislike - the dangerous recklessness of its current government and the fact that people there don't ask more tough questions of their government, letting Bush get away with it. And the fact that America is causing a disproportionate amount of harm of the environment, and too few people there seem to be concerned.

What I like about America is that we have all the freedom we can handle...what I don't like about America is that all of this freedom is being taken away slowly but surely, one by one, by the lawmakers, politicians and presidents. They are reforming everything and slowly infringing on all of our original civil rights that are in the constitution...but they are in politics so they have the right to do whatever they want right?

I love that we are a free country!
I hate that people in America have the mentality of entitlement. I hate the fact that people want freedom but don't want to sacrifice and fight for it.
Other than that I hate the Hurricane's.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!
