A good turkish coffee would be made of fine oriental coffe grinted. Put 2 spoons of coffee in a small jarr, add a cup of water in and add some half soup spoon of honey.
Stir the whole with a spoon and put it over a light fire. Stir it again & let it for as long it takes for the water to boil well. Take it off. Let it cool up for 2' (winter) or 5' (summer).
Then serve it. Mmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ciao...John-John.

Star: Never, never, allow coffee to boil or even come close to boiling. It makes it taste awful. Coffee should be dripped by pouring water, that is at boiling temp., over the grounds and allowed to soak up the flavor as it passes thru the grounds. For rich consistent flavor, keep your coffee grounds away from the air. Oxygen makes coffee grounds go stale quickly. Purchase vacuum packed product of your choice. Remember, never boil coffee, even just a little bit. Walmart sells a plastic container just for a brick of coffee and a long measuring spoon. You may want to check it out. Happy Brewing

If you're using a regular 12-cup coffeepot, I fill the filter a little less than halfway with coffee grinds.I don't use generic coffee, but Folgers and Maxwell House are good and not expensive. For a treat, sometimes I'll buy whole beans and grind them very finely (Harry & David has great coffee). Then when drinking it, I add a little vanilla-flavored creamer.

Freshness is the key at every stage. Use freshly-roasted beans. Grind them just before brewing. Brew a cup at a time and drink immediately.

Start with the best coffee: Rooster Farms medium roast Kona. A French Press is considered the ideal way to prepare it.

Personally,
Fresh ground coffee.
Just off boiling water.
Use a cafetiere (aka French Press).
Also drink it black without sugar.

use a really good coffeemaker (I use the Bunn Pour - a - Matic); buy really good coffee beans (kept in freezer) and grind just before using. Always fresh.
