You can spend a whole lot more money and enter a "charm school." Just read the book. As for posture, it is healthier for you to have good posture anyway. Don't slouch!

Miss Manners writes a newspaper column for guidance in small doses. I don't know why you want ot avoid books, you might think it a boring subject to read a whole book about. If that is the reason, you won't find Miss Manners' (Judith Martin) book to be boring. She is a most engaging writer.
