Nothing MAKES Firefox better than IE.
It is entirely an opinion as to which browser is "better" and is highly dependant upon what one's definition of "better" is. It also is highly dependant upon which version of IE you are comparing Firefox to.
Assuming most IE users today are using IE 6, I will compare Firefox to that.
Firefox allows tabbed browsing by default. IE 6 does not.
Firefox does not have as many security vulnerabilities and exploits as IE 6... or rather, people just have not decided to use any exploits or security vulnerabilities in Firefox as they have IE. Firefox is also less resource intensive.
Relatively and statstically speaking, IE and Microsoft in general are attacked because they are "insecure." In reality, when you look at statistical ratios, IE is very secure... the reason why it is "insecure" is because of the sheer number of people that target the browser because of its widespread use.
IE 7 has MANY, MANY more features than Firefox, tabbed browsing included. It boasts a host of security features as well. If you are an average user looking for a secure browser, I would choose IE 7 hands down over Firefox.
I myself am an IT professional, however. Because IE 7 is still in beta, certain protocols (like FTP) do not function properly in IE 7. A regular home user has no need for this, though. I will be waiting for IE 7 to be released before I use it, personally, but any home users just looking to browse the internet with a secure browser should definitely get IE 7 over Firefox.
Hope this helps!

right click my computer icon
click on properties
click on advanced
in the start and recovery box
click on settiging ...tab
now clcick ok edit...
remove the tex in the log
click on ok then cliick on
apply & ok
now restart the computer
when windows start up it will
rewrite the log and then it will go to the
user login screen
you click on your user login id
and login to the desk top.
That should solve on problem now to deal with the viruses on your pc. You have to do 1 thing to get rid of them. And that is
click on start and then on run type in the box msconfig click on ok then click on service tab and look in the list for the tracking device untick the box and click apply & ok then restart the pc.
That should get rid of all the viruses and firefox all at the same time.

It has more features, runs faster, and has been less of a virus target.
